2″ hat pin is shaped like the 18th Special Operation Squadron patch and is a copy of the Stinger hat pin. It is a little thicker metal. Very nice pin to show your Stinger Pride on a jacket, vest or hat.
18th SOS “150 MISSIONS” Stinger patch – red, white, and blue. 4″, in the shape of a badge. The “Stinger AC-119K Gunship” lettering is white and the “150 Missions” lettering is blue. This patch would look outstanding on your party suits.
The 18th SOS “DaNang Scorpion” formal tie is 100% polyester, created by K. Alexander. It is black with embroidered DaNang Scorpion logo in red. Fit for any formal outing.
The original logo was painted by Sgt. Tom Graham. An account given by Sgt. Graham says the logo was first on the flight line which was requested by Doug Metcalf or the first sergeant. This was done late 1970 or early 1971. After a month, he was requested to paint a second logo at the “OPS’ building on “Gunfighter Row.” This was requested by the Squadron Commander.
The American stars and stripes flag in beautiful red, white, and blue, along with the POW/MIA black flag with gold lettering and trim. Pin looks good on a hat, vest, party suit or on a jacket lapel.
